Position Summary

The Cargill Business Services (CBS) Group has six locations throughout North America, Latin America,Europe and Asia. The purpose of the business service centers is to enable our partners to focus on their business activities and achieve Cargill Strategic Intent. We leverage our deep knowledge and expertise in Finance, Accounting and Business Process Shared Services to provide effective and efficient services globally in the areas of Procure to Pay, Order and Trade Settlement to Cash, Record to Report, and Travel Expense Report Processing. The Cargill Business Service Center in Sofia will be delivering services in the areas of RTR such as Admin Accounting , SGA Expense team, Budget and allocations, Reconciliations and others. The Junior Tax Accountant position will be a part of the VAT Compliance team, which provides Tax reporting services for the financial controllers and global tax and customs organization within Cargill. In this position you will communicate with businesses and tax personnel on issues arising with the VAT and Intrastat reporting for to External Bodies.

Principal Accountabilities:

Support VAT and Intrastat monthly reporting process
Check and reconcile VAT and Intrastat reports according the internal procedures and controls
Handling ad – hoc requests
Act as a point of contact for partners within the assigned Business units
Participate in process improvement projects

Изисквания и необходими умения

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
1 – 2 years’ experience in Tax accounting, Tax Advisory, Tax Auditing
Strong team player skills
Ability to communicate/interact with multiple levels of the organization
Strong organizational skills and ability to work on concurrent objectives
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good skills in MS Office – Word, Excel
Fluent English
